With a focus on exceptional knitwear, we create pieces that are designed to be cherished and revisited, season after season. Our aesthetic is intelligent, witty, and speaks to an understated luxury, weaving stories into every garment. We believe in quality that endures and designs that transcend fleeting trends.

The Role

We are seeking a creative, talented, and highly motivated Fashion Designer to join our growing team in Stockholm. This role is integral to the heart of our brand, and you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of our seasonal collections, with a strong focus on our signature knitwear.

You will work closely with the founder and the wider creative team to translate conceptual ideas into beautifully executed garments that resonate with the Crush Collection identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept & Research: Conduct in-depth research on seasonal themes, colour palettes, market trends, and fabrications that align with the CRUSH aesthetic.
  • Design & Development: Create original designs from initial concept through to final sample, producing sketches, illustrations, and detailed technical flats.
  • Knitwear Innovation: As a key focus, design innovative and sophisticated knitwear, exploring new yarns, techniques, stitches, and silhouettes.
  • Technical Packs: Develop comprehensive and accurate technical packages for sampling and production, including detailed construction notes, measurements, and artwork placements.
  • Sourcing: Source and select high-quality fabrics, yarns, and trims in collaboration with the production team, with a keen eye for quality and sustainability.
  • Fittings & Quality Control: Participate actively in all fittings, providing clear and concise comments to pattern makers and factories to ensure the perfect fit, quality, and execution of each design.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand vision from concept to consumer.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in a fashion designer role within the contemporary or luxury market.
  • Portfolio: A strong and compelling design portfolio with a proven emphasis on womenswear, particularly high-quality knitwear.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office. Experience creating detailed technical packs is essential.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Mindset: A creative and conceptual thinker with an impeccable eye for detail, colour, and silhouette. You understand the balance between creative expression and commercial viability.
  • Attributes: You are proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Brand Alignment: You have a deep appreciation for the Crush Collection brand philosophy of timelessness, storytelling, and quality craftsmanship.
  • Language & Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Stockholm. Fluent in English & Chinese (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
